What is this place?
The Gene Lazo Imaginarium
I'm always searching for new ways to communicate the stories from within. I started with basic photography, then progressed to photographs that tried to tell uncommon stories within the realm of reality, then I began to digitally blend multiple images into more imaginative visions.
This was satisfying for a little while but I felt I still had more to say. I taught myself abstract acrylic painting which removed any constraint of perceived reality but then I thought what if I somehow combined the two into truly unique fine art images?
